Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older at the time of screening
- You have been diagnosed with Gaucher disease type 1
- Your hemoglobin (a measure of red blood cells) levels have been stable recently
- Your platelet count (cells that help blood clot) has been stable recently
- You have been continuously receiving ERT (enzyme replacement therapy) or SRT (substrate reduction therapy) for at least 2 years without any breaks
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with, or are suspected to have, Gaucher disease type 2 or type 3
- You have certain antibodies in your blood called AAVS3 neutralizing antibodies (confirm with trial site)
- You have abnormal lab results, health conditions, or other illnesses that could make participation unsafe (confirm with trial site)
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You have previously had a bone marrow transplant, stem cell transplant, or any solid organ transplant (such as a kidney or liver transplant)
- You have previously received any type of gene therapy or cell therapy
- You have had your entire spleen surgically removed
