Who might be able to join this trial:

• You are 18 years of age or older and have been diagnosed with trichotillomania (a hair-pulling condition, also known as TTM)
• English is your primary language
• You are currently not receiving any medication or therapy aimed at treating your TTM symptoms, OR you have completed a 6-week course of such treatment with no change in how often, how severe, or what dose you received
• You have reliable and consistent access to the internet and/or a mobile device that allows you to join a virtual video meeting for up to 90 minutes
• You own or have access to a mobile phone that runs on Apple's iOS operating system (such as an iPhone)
• You have someone in your life who can be contacted in case of an emergency
• You are willing to allow the Kent State research team to share your home address and phone number(s) with a company called HabitAware, Inc., so they can send you a device and help you set it up

Who may not be able to join:

• You are currently having thoughts of harming yourself or others, or have a plan to do so
• You have been diagnosed with another mental health condition that might make it difficult to fully use the app, such as a psychotic disorder or major depressive disorder (confirm with trial site)
