Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years of age or older
- You are biologically female
- You have been diagnosed with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE/Lupus) according to specific 2019 classification guidelines (confirm with trial site)
- Your immune-suppressing medications have not changed in the last 3 months
- You have been on a stable, low-to-moderate dose of prednisone (or a similar steroid) for at least 1 month

- You are able and willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You are biologically male
- You have an active cancer (except certain minor skin cancers)
- You have been diagnosed with liver cirrhosis, or your liver function blood tests show certain abnormal results (confirm with trial site)
- You currently have an infection that requires medical treatment
- You have had major surgery within the last 3 months
- You have an allergy to aspirin
- You are currently taking a type of medication called an MAO inhibitor (confirm with trial site)
- Your kidneys are not filtering well enough, based on a specific blood test result (confirm with trial site)
- You have a known diagnosis of atrial fibrillation (an irregular heartbeat condition)
- You have a serious ongoing health condition in addition to lupus (confirm with trial site)
