Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older, of any gender
- People whose cancer type has no currently available treatment known to be effective
- People who have been formally diagnosed (through tissue or cell testing) with an advanced or spreading solid tumour cancer that has stopped responding to standard treatments, or where no standard treatment exists
- People whose bone marrow, kidneys, and liver are functioning at an adequate level
- People whose cancer can be measured using a standard imaging assessment method known as RECIST v1.1
- People who are relatively active and able to carry out daily activities with little or no limitation (this is measured by a scale called ECOG, scores 0 or 1)
- People with a life expectancy of at least 3 months
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously received a specific type of cancer drug called an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) that carries a topoisomerase 1 inhibitor as its active component
- People who have previously received any treatment that specifically targets a protein called PTK7
- People with heart or blood vessel disease that is not well controlled
- People with an active Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or HIV infection
- People who have a history of a lung condition called interstitial lung disease
- People who have had major surgery, radiation therapy, or systemic cancer treatment within 3 weeks before the trial treatment is due to start
