Who might be able to join this trial:
- Your Body Mass Index (BMI) must be between 24.0 and 35.0 at the time of joining, AND you must weigh more than 60 kg (about 132 lbs) if male, or more than 50 kg (about 110 lbs) if female

Who may not be able to join:
- People whose excess weight is caused by a hormonal or gland-related condition, such as Cushing's syndrome

- People who have had a significant heart or stroke-related event in the 6 months before screening, such as a stroke, heart attack, heart failure, or irregular heartbeat
- People with serious digestive or gut conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease, active ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, or problems with how the stomach empties food (confirm with trial site for full list)
- People who have had major surgery on their digestive system in the past (removal of the gallbladder or appendix is generally okay), or who plan to have major surgery during the study
- People whose blood sugar levels are too high, which may indicate diabetes — this is checked through specific blood tests at screening (confirm with trial site for exact values)
- People whose routine blood test results show results of medical concern at screening (confirm with trial site)
