Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are able and willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the study
- You are willing to be tested for genetic muscle diseases
- You are 18 years of age or older, but younger than 75
- You have been diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis (MG)
- You have been on a steady, unchanged treatment for MG for a period of time before joining
- You weigh at least 40 kg (about 88 lbs) at the time of screening
- You have received vaccines against three specific infections: meningococcal disease, pneumococcal disease, and Haemophilus influenzae type B (these are fairly common vaccines)
Who may not be able to join:
- You have previously been treated with a medicine called IM-101
- You have tested positive for a specific antibody called Anti-MuSK (confirm with trial site)
- You have a history of a type of thymus gland cancer called malignant thymoma, or you have had any cancer in the last 5 years
- You have previously had an infection caused by a bacteria called Neisseria meningitidis (a type of bacterial meningitis)
- You have previously tried a type of medicine called a complement inhibitor, but had to stop because it did not work for you or caused side effects you could not tolerate
