Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People who are aged 18 to 75 years old at the time of joining the trial

Who may not be able to join:

  • People whose lung cancer has specific genetic changes known as EGFR-sensitive mutations (such as exon 19del or L858R) or ALK/ROS1 rearrangements (confirm with trial site if unsure about genetic test results)
  • People who have cancer that has spread to the brain and is causing symptoms or is not under control
  • People who have been diagnosed with another type of cancer in the past 3 years, except for certain skin cancers or a very early form of cervical cancer that have been fully treated
  • People who have previously received any systemic cancer treatment — such as immunotherapy, chemotherapy, or targeted therapy — for lung cancer
  • People who have had a severe allergic reaction (Grade 3 or higher) to a class of cancer immunotherapy drugs called PD-1 or PD-L1 inhibitors
  • People who have an active autoimmune disease that requires ongoing medication to suppress the immune system
  • People who have an active infection, including active hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or HIV
  • People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People who have another serious or uncontrolled health condition that the trial doctor believes could interfere with participation or pose too great a risk
