Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older, of any gender
- People diagnosed with a type of blood cancer called B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL), confirmed using the 2016 WHO diagnostic guidelines
- People whose cancer cells test positive for two specific markers — CD19 and CD22 — found on abnormal B cells
- People whose cancer tests positive for a specific genetic change called the Philadelphia chromosome and a related gene fusion called BCR/ABL1
- People who have been newly diagnosed with B-ALL and have not yet received standard chemotherapy treatment
- People whose liver and kidney function blood test results fall within acceptable ranges as defined by the trial (confirm specific values with trial site)
- People whose heart is pumping at least 50% efficiently, as measured by an ultrasound of the heart
- People who do not have an active lung infection and whose blood oxygen level is at least 92% without needing extra oxygen
- People whose expected survival time is at least 3 months
- People who are reasonably well and able to carry out daily activities, based on a standard health scoring scale (scored 0–2 out of 5)
- People of childbearing potential who agree to use appropriate contraception before joining, throughout the trial, and for 6 months after treatment
- People who are willing to take part voluntarily and sign a consent form
Who may not be able to join:
- People with a history of epilepsy or other conditions affecting the brain or nervous system
- People with a history of a heart rhythm problem called prolonged QT interval, or other serious heart disease
- People who are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- People who have an active infection that is not yet being treated
- People with chronic hepatitis B who are unwilling or unable to take preventive antiviral medication, or who have a detectable level of hepatitis B virus in their blood; or people with hepatitis C who have not completed curative treatment or still have a detectable level of hepatitis C virus in their blood
- People who test positive for HIV
- People who test positive for syphilis
- People who have previously received any gene therapy treatment
- People with other serious uncontrolled health conditions that the trial doctor considers unsuitable for participation
- People with any other circumstances that, in the trial doctor's judgment, could increase health risks or affect the reliability of the trial results
