Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are aged 12 years or older but under 18 years old at the time of signing the consent forms

• People whose weight has changed by less than 5 kg after at least 12 weeks of trying diet and exercise alone before the screening visit (based on what the participant or their parent reports)

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes
• People who have not yet started puberty (assessed using a medical staging system called Tanner Stage I — confirm with trial site)
• People who have had weight-loss surgery in the past, or who are planning to have it — though people who have had liposuction, a tummy tuck, or acupuncture for weight loss more than one year before the screening visit may still be considered (confirm with trial site)
