  • Your leukemia has spread to the brain or spinal cord in a way that requires radiation treatment
  • Doctors expect you to survive less than 48 hours due to serious complications from the leukemia
  • You have a history of a stroke (either caused by a blood clot or bleeding in the brain) or serious decline in brain or nervous system function
  • You are currently pregnant
