Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are older than 18 years of age
- People who have been diagnosed through a tissue sample (biopsy or surgery) with a specific type of uterine cancer called endometrioid endometrial cancer, at any stage of the disease, including cases where the cancer has come back or spread, and who are being considered for surgery and/or removal of the uterus
- People who have given written agreement to take part in the study and to have their data used — this can be done with the help of a legal representative, guardian, or witness if needed, and must happen before any study procedures begin
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have other serious health conditions that are not well managed with their current medical treatment
- People who have an infection inside the uterus (a condition where infected fluid collects in the uterine cavity)
- People who have another separate cancer occurring at the same time
- People who have already received pre-surgery treatments such as chemotherapy or other therapies aimed at shrinking the cancer before an operation (confirm with trial site)
- People who have previously had radiation therapy to the pelvic area
