Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with either drug-sensitive tuberculosis or drug-resistant tuberculosis and are currently on a short-term treatment regimen known as BPaL or BPaLM

- People who are willing to follow the study schedule through to the end and sign a written consent form

- People who were already experiencing nausea and vomiting before starting tuberculosis treatment, including those with conditions that can cause nausea and vomiting such as kidney failure or liver problems
- People with drug-resistant tuberculosis who are on a long-term or individually tailored treatment plan (rather than the specific short-term regimens listed above)
- People with diabetes whose random blood sugar level is above 200 mg/dL
- People whose blood pressure or circulation is currently unstable
- People who have had acupuncture treatment within the last 2 weeks
- People with blood clotting problems, specifically a platelet count below 50,000/µL
- People who have previously had an allergic reaction to acupuncture treatment
