Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged 18 years or older
- People who have been diagnosed for the first time with a single meningioma (a type of brain tumour) located on the outer surface of the brain (called the convexity)
- People who have had surgery where the surgeon was able to remove the entire visible tumour (a level of removal known as Simpson grade 1–3)
For the part of the study looking at past cases only:
- People whose surgery was performed between 2007 and 2016
- People for whom preserved tumour tissue samples and medical records are available

- People who have a known genetic syndrome
- People who have a condition where meningiomas are spread widely across the lining of the brain, rather than in a single spot
- People who received an experimental treatment before their surgery
For the part of the study enrolling new participants only:
- People who have previously had surgery or other medical treatment for a different or earlier meningioma
- People with a history of another cancer (for example, breast cancer)
