"Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are 18 years old or older
- You are on the Department of Corrections trauma treatment waitlist
- You have been assessed and do not currently have active symptoms of psychosis that would get in the way of taking part in group sessions
- You do not currently have thoughts of suicide with a plan or intention to act on them
- You are willing and able to take part in group therapy sessions
- You have been assessed and currently meet the criteria for a PTSD diagnosis within the past 2 months before joining

- You currently have active symptoms of psychosis that could interfere with your ability to participate in the group

- You are unwilling or unable to take part in group therapy
- Your release date is scheduled before the treatment program would be completed
- You are unable to demonstrate understanding of the consent form through the consent quiz
- You have previously taken part in a CPT (Cognitive Processing Therapy) group run by the UW project
