  • People with moderate to severe kidney disease, where the kidneys are not filtering blood effectively enough (a specific kidney function measurement below 44 mL/min/1.73 m²)
  • People who, for any reason — such as language barriers, psychological difficulties, or distance from the trial site — are unable to fully understand the study or follow the trial's requirements
