Who might be able to join this trial:
- You have been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder I or Bipolar Disorder II
- You are willing and able to commit to attending all required study visits for the full length of the study
- You are willing to give yourself injections of the study medication as instructed
- You are able to store and use the study medication correctly at home
- You are willing to keep a daily diary (electronic or paper) and fill out questionnaires as part of the study
- You are currently taking stable medication for bipolar disorder prescribed by your doctor
Who may not be able to join:
- You have ever been diagnosed with schizophrenia or another psychotic disorder
- You have ever been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder
- You have ever been diagnosed with any eating disorder
- You have Type 1 diabetes, or have a history of a dangerous diabetes-related crisis such as diabetic ketoacidosis or a diabetic coma
- You have had a significant problem with drug or alcohol misuse in the past 6 months
- You are currently having thoughts of suicide or are considered to be at serious risk of suicide
- You have taken part in another clinical trial and received treatment (or are unsure whether you received treatment) within the past 90 days or within 5 half-lives of that treatment — whichever is the longer period (confirm with trial site)
