Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged 18 years or older
  • People who have had their lung cancer confirmed through a tissue or cell sample test showing non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC)
  • People whose cancer is at an advanced or spread stage (Stage III or Stage IV)
  • People who are about to begin a new cancer treatment for their advanced or spread disease, whether this is their first treatment or a later one

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have a history of blood clots (such as deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism) since their cancer diagnosis, or who have signs of blood clots at the time of joining
  • People who regularly take blood-thinning medication for any reason, such as for an irregular heartbeat or previous blood clots
  • People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities is very poor (confirm with trial site what this level means for a specific situation)
  • People whose life expectancy is estimated to be less than 3 months
