Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with a BMI of 30 or higher, or a BMI of 27 or higher along with a weight-related health condition such as osteoarthritis, non-alcoholic liver disease, sleep apnea, or high blood pressure — and who do not have heart disease or type 2 diabetes.
• People aged between 18 and 75 years old (inclusive).
• People who are currently being treated with weekly semaglutide injections under the skin at a dose of at least 1 mg per week, and who have lost at least 10% of their body weight since starting that treatment.
• People whose weight has been stable for the past 12 weeks, meaning less than 5% change in body weight (based on self-reporting).
• People who are able to read and understand English.

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have previously been diagnosed with heart disease, including a heart attack, stroke, or a condition causing poor blood flow to the legs or arms.
• People who are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
• People who have previously been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes.
• People who are using any other medication for weight loss in addition to semaglutide.
• People who have previously had weight-loss surgery such as a gastric bypass or gastric band.
• People with any history of an eating disorder.
• People with significant kidney problems, as measured by a specific kidney function test falling below a certain threshold (confirm with trial site).
• People with a moderate to severe heart failure condition classified as New York Heart Association class II to IV.
• People with a serious liver condition, such as jaundice, ongoing hepatitis, a previous liver transplant, or certain abnormal liver blood test results.
• People who have had a cancer requiring treatment such as chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, or palliative care within the past five years (except for a common, low-risk type of skin cancer called basal cell carcinoma).
• People with a personal or family history of a specific type of thyroid cancer (medullary thyroid carcinoma) or a related inherited condition called Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2.
• People who, in the opinion of the trial investigators, have any other reason that might make it difficult for them to follow the study requirements.
