Who might be able to join this trial:
- People aged between 18 and 75 years
- People who have been diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) for at least 3 months, and who meet a standard set of classification criteria for PsA at the screening visit
- People with currently active PsA, meaning at least 3 tender joints and at least 3 swollen joints at both the screening and baseline visits
- People who currently have active plaque psoriasis (at least one skin lesion of 2cm or larger), nail psoriasis, or a documented history of plaque psoriasis
- People whose PsA has not responded well enough to, or who could not tolerate, prior treatment with NSAIDs (common anti-inflammatory medicines) or non-biologic DMARDs (a type of disease-modifying medication)
- People who are on a stable dose of any background medications permitted by the trial, if they are taking any
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have other inflammatory conditions that could interfere with how the study drug is assessed
- People who have previously been treated with more than 2 biologic medicines (a specific type of medication used for inflammatory conditions)
- People who have recently used certain medications that are not permitted in this trial, as specific waiting periods between stopping those medications and joining the trial apply (confirm with trial site)
- People who have forms of psoriasis other than plaque psoriasis, or whose psoriasis was caused by a medication
- People who have severe, progressive, or uncontrolled conditions affecting the kidneys, liver, heart, lungs, digestive system, hormonal system, nervous system, blood, joints (other than PsA), mental health, or urinary system
- People whose recent blood or laboratory test results show significant abnormalities
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
