  • Adults between 18 and 75 years of age
  • People who have had a brain scan (MRI or CT) showing a pituitary adenoma or craniopharyngioma (types of brain tumour near the base of the skull) that is 3 cm or smaller and has not spread widely into the surrounding skull area
  • People who are already scheduled to have a planned (non-emergency) surgical procedure to remove the tumour through the nose using a camera-guided technique
  • People whose overall physical health falls within a certain accepted range for surgery (confirm with trial site)
  • People who are willing and able to sign a consent form and attend follow-up appointments as required

Who may not be able to join:

  • People with significant nasal structural problems, nasal polyps, or previous nasal surgery that would prevent a device from being placed inside the nose
  • People with an active nasal or body-wide infection, indicated by elevated blood markers
  • People with a known infection inside the skull, or an existing leak of the fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord
  • People with blood clotting problems, or those taking blood-thinning medication that cannot safely be stopped for at least 7 days before the procedure
  • People with a known allergy to silicone or medical-grade plastics
  • People whose surgery is planned to involve additional approaches through the skull or eye socket, rather than through the nose alone
  • People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • People with a psychiatric or cognitive condition that would make it difficult to give informed consent or participate in follow-up
