Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who are between 10 and 18 years old
• People who have been assessed as meeting the diagnostic criteria, or nearly meeting the criteria, for Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) — specifically, missing no more than one symptom from either of the two main symptom groups used to define the condition (confirm with trial site)
• People who have strong enough reading and writing skills to complete writing-based tasks as part of the study
• People who are able to understand what the study involves and complete the required assessments
• People whose legal guardians have also provided written consent to participate, alongside the participant's own written consent

Who may not be able to join:

• People who have a serious psychiatric condition — such as schizophrenia, bipolar I disorder, autism spectrum disorder, or an intellectual disability — that could interfere with taking part in the study
• People who have a serious physical health condition that would make it difficult to participate in the treatment activities
• People who have been assessed as being at high risk of suicide, including those with current thoughts of suicide with a plan or intention, a suicide attempt in the past 12 months, or serious self-harm behaviours
• People who are still currently experiencing traumatic events
• People who are currently receiving other psychological treatments specifically focused on trauma
