Who might be able to join this trial:

For the Contrast-Based part of the trial:

• You have been diagnosed with Cushing's disease, or you need surgery to remove a certain type of brain tumor near the pituitary gland (a non-corticotroph adenoma)
• You have agreed to have a specific type of surgery to remove the tumor through the nose (called transsphenoidal resection)

For the Non-Contrast-Based part of the trial:

• You are having any type of pituitary gland surgery performed by one of the surgeons designated for this study
• Your surgery is planned to include the use of a specific ultrasound device (BK ultrasound) during the operation, without contrast dye

Who may not be able to join:

For the Contrast-Based part of the trial:

• You are not able to give your own consent, and your legal guardian or representative has also declined to give consent on your behalf
• You have a known or suspected allergy to the contrast agent (microbubble) used in the procedure, or to any of its ingredients, such as a substance called polyethylene glycol (PEG)
• You are a woman of childbearing age and your pregnancy test before the procedure comes back positive
• You have a certain type of heart condition where blood can flow in the wrong direction between the chambers of your heart (confirm with trial site)
• You have a known allergy to a substance called perflutren, which is used in the contrast agent

For the Non-Contrast-Based part of the trial:

• You are not able to give your own consent, and your legal guardian or representative has also declined to give consent on your behalf
