Who might be able to join this trial:

  • People aged 18 or older who are able to give written consent to participate
  • People with an advanced solid tumour (not originating in the brain or spinal cord) that has been confirmed through a tissue or cell sample
  • People whose cancer has at least one area that can be measured using standard imaging criteria (known as RECIST v1.1)
  • People who are fully active or have only minor restrictions in physical activity (as rated on a standard scale called ECOG PS, at level 0 or 1)
  • People with a life expectancy of at least 12 weeks, as assessed by their doctor
  • People with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) who have relatively well-preserved liver function, rated as Child-Pugh Class A
  • People whose kidneys, liver, blood, and other organs are functioning adequately based on specific blood test results outlined in the study protocol
  • People who are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have not waited long enough after finishing previous cancer treatments, as specified in the study protocol
  • People still experiencing side effects rated moderate or severe (Grade 2 or higher) from previous cancer treatments, with some exceptions
  • People who have had a different cancer diagnosis within the past 2 years, with some exceptions
  • People with HIV, hepatitis B, or acute hepatitis C that is not currently under control
  • People who have cancer that has spread to the brain or spinal cord and is not stable or being treated
  • People with an active autoimmune disease, or one that required medical treatment within the past 3 years
  • People who have received any organ transplant, including a bone marrow or stem cell transplant from a donor
  • People with a significant, active heart or blood vessel condition
  • People with a known active problem with alcohol or drug misuse
  • People with a psychiatric condition that would prevent them from understanding and signing the consent form
  • People with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) who have needed a procedure to drain fluid from the abdomen, or who have had a brain condition related to liver failure requiring medical treatment, within the past 6 months
