Study 1a:

  • People who were diagnosed with bladder cancer that had not spread into the muscle wall, and who were treated with surgery to remove the tumour from inside the bladder (about 12 months ago)
  • People who were diagnosed with bladder cancer that had not spread into the muscle wall, treated with that same surgery followed by medication placed directly into the bladder (about 12 months ago)
  • People who were diagnosed with bladder cancer that had spread into the muscle wall, and who had their bladder surgically removed (about 12 months ago)
  • People who have noticed changes or problems with sexual function that they believe are related to their bladder cancer diagnosis or its treatment
  • People who speak and understand Danish
  • People aged 18 years or older
  • People who have read and understood the study information (both spoken and written) and have signed a consent form

Study 1b:

  • People who have been diagnosed with bladder cancer that spread into the muscle wall and had their bladder surgically removed
  • People who speak and understand Danish
  • People aged 18 years or older
  • People who have read and understood the study information (both spoken and written) and have signed a consent form

Who may not be able to join:

  • People who have a history of another cancer in the pelvic area, such as rectal cancer, sarcoma, uterine cancer, cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, prostate cancer, or penile cancer
  • People who have a history of breast cancer
