- Children between 1 and 15 years old, or adults aged 15 and above, who need one or more extra "bolus" (larger, less frequent) tube feeds on top of their usual tube feeding or home-blended food diet to help manage malnutrition related to a medical condition.
- Patients who are already settled and doing well on their current tube feeding routine or home-blended diet.
- Patients who receive their tube feeds through a gastrostomy (a feeding tube inserted directly into the stomach through the abdomen).
- Patients or their caregivers who are willing and able to give written consent to take part in the trial.
Who may not be able to join:
- Patients who, in the opinion of the study doctor, would not be able to follow the study plan or requirements.
- Babies and children under 1 year of age.
- Patients who use a nasogastric tube (a tube through the nose into the stomach) or a jejunal feeding tube (a tube that feeds into the small intestine).
- Patients who receive all of their nutrition through a drip directly into their bloodstream (called total parenteral nutrition).
- Patients who have a known allergy to any of the ingredients used in the trial products (confirm with trial site for the full ingredient list).
- Patients who have serious kidney or liver problems.
- Patients who have taken part in another clinical trial within the last 2 weeks.
- Patients who have a known or suspected blockage or stoppage in their bowel.
