Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are a woman between the ages of 18 and 75
- You have experienced physical, sexual, and/or emotional violence in the past, and this has led to personal distress such as depression or anxiety
- You are currently having thoughts of suicide
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently struggling with significant substance use (such as alcohol or drugs) in a way that might affect your ability to take part
- You have serious health conditions that could make it unsafe for you to participate (confirm with trial site)
- You do not have a history of experiencing violence or trauma from another person
- You are currently in a state of severe psychiatric crisis (confirm with trial site)
- You have a history of violent behavior toward others, or are considered to be at risk of harming others
- You are not currently having any thoughts of suicide or self-harm
- You are unable to commit to attending in-person group sessions every week for 12 weeks
