Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults between 18 and 80 years old, of any gender
- People who have been diagnosed with head and neck cancer (including nasopharyngeal carcinoma) confirmed by laboratory testing of tissue, and who need radiation therapy as a main treatment or after surgery
- People whose general health and ability to carry out daily activities falls within an acceptable range, as measured by a standard medical scoring system called the ECOG scale (scores 0 to 2) (confirm with trial site)
- People who are willing to take part and have signed a consent form agreeing to join the study
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously had radiation therapy to the same area of the body being treated
- People who have a skin condition in the treatment area before the study begins, such as open wounds, infection, rash, or psoriasis, that could affect how results are measured
- People who have connective tissue disease or other widespread skin-related conditions affecting the whole body
- People who are known to be allergic to any ingredient in the study product, called Meilian Fuxin Solution
- People who have taken part in another clinical research study or used an experimental drug or device within the past 3 months
- People whom the trial doctors consider unsuitable for the study for any other reason
