Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are an adult between 18 and 65 years old who has been diagnosed with coeliac disease confirmed by a biopsy (a small tissue sample test)
- A recent gut biopsy taken within the last 12 months shows that your coeliac disease is in remission (the gut lining has healed)
- You have been strictly following a gluten-free diet for at least 6 months
- You are still experiencing ongoing gut symptoms (such as digestive discomfort) for at least 6 months, even though you are following a gluten-free diet and your gut has healed
- You are able and willing to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- You are currently eating gluten or not strictly following a gluten-free diet
- You have taken antibiotics in the past 3 months
- You have taken probiotic supplements or products in the past 3 months
- You have another known condition that affects how your gut works, such as Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, severe irritable bowel syndrome, or another significant digestive disorder
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
- You are unable to understand or sign a consent form agreeing to take part
