- Women who are 18 years of age or older
- Women who have been recommended to have a LLETZ procedure (a treatment to remove abnormal tissue from the cervix) based on an abnormal cervical smear test result and/or biopsy
- People who are able to sign a written consent form agreeing to take part in the trial

- People who have previously had a cervical excision procedure (a procedure where tissue was removed from the cervix)
