- People who have reliable transport to get to appointments

- People who are willing to answer questions on multiple occasions over the course of a year
- People who are willing to be assigned to 3 months of standard care treatment
- People who have not been diagnosed with schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder, or Bipolar Disorder
- People who do not have a severe fear of needles
- People whose chronic pain is rated 5 out of 10 or lower
- People who score 50 or higher on a standard PTSD symptom questionnaire called the PCL-C (confirm with trial site)
