Who might be able to join this trial:

• People whose cancer has spread to the lymph nodes.
• People whose tumour wraps around the main kidney artery.

• People whose general health is too poor to safely undergo general anaesthetic, based on anaesthesia assessment.

• People currently taking immune-suppressing medications.
• People who have an active infection or fever.

• People who have another cancer at the same time, are currently being treated for another tumour (whether cancerous or not), or have had another cancer within the past six months.
• People whose kidney cancer has already spread to other parts of the body (metastatic).
• People who have used Chinese herbal medicines or immune-modifying drugs with anti-tumour indications within the 14 days before starting the trial treatment.
• People who have received certain systemic treatments such as thymosin, interferon, or interleukin (except when used locally, for example to manage fluid around the lungs).
• People with active or potentially recurring autoimmune diseases — though some exceptions may apply, such as certain skin conditions not requiring systemic treatment, stable thyroid conditions managed with hormone replacement, or Type 1 diabetes managed with a stable insulin dose (confirm with trial site).
• People currently enrolled in another interventional clinical trial.
• People with a known history of serious mental illness, drug abuse, alcoholism, or illicit drug use.
• People who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
