Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have cervical cancer that has spread to a small number of sites in the body (called oligo-metastatic) or come back in a small number of sites (called oligo-recurrent), whether or not radiation treatment has been used previously.
- People whose cervical cancer had spread to many sites but responded well to chemotherapy, and who have since had radiation treatment to the areas where the cancer returned or spread.
- People who were treated with high-dose radiation when their cancer first spread to a small number of sites, and whose cancer has since shown further limited spread or growth.
- People whose limited spread or recurrence was treated with other local treatments such as surgery or ablation (a procedure that destroys cancer cells).
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a gynaecological cancer other than cervical cancer.
- People whose cancer has spread widely to many sites and has not responded well to systemic (whole-body) treatment.
- People who are currently taking part in another clinical trial involving an experimental new drug at the time their cancer returns.
- People for whom no medical follow-up after treatment is planned or possible.
