Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be older than 2 years of age
- You (or your parent/legal guardian) must agree to take part — children under 6 give spoken agreement, and those over 6 give written agreement
- You must be registered with the French social security system
- You must have been diagnosed with one of the following conditions: Myotonic Dystrophy Type 1 (also called Steinert's disease), Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy, Becker Muscular Dystrophy, or a congenital myopathy — or you may be a healthy participant with none of these conditions
Who may not be able to join:
- You or your parent/legal guardian does not wish to take part
- You have done intense or unusual physical exercise in the 10 days before your blood sample is taken
- You are currently taking any medication that could affect your muscles, heart, or whole body in a way that might affect the study's results
- You or your legal guardian are under a form of legal protection or supervision, or are not free to make your own decisions (confirm with trial site)
- You are pregnant or currently breastfeeding
- You have another health condition that, in the doctor's opinion, could affect the study's results
