- You are scheduled to have your womb removed through an abdominal operation (called a total abdominal hysterectomy) for a non-cancer-related reason
- You have been sexually active in the last 4 weeks
- You are able to fill in a specific questionnaire about sexual function (called the FSFI)
- You are willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- You have been diagnosed with a gynaecological cancer (such as cancer of the womb, ovaries, or cervix)
- You are also having a major additional pelvic surgery at the same time (confirm with trial site)
- You have a serious mental health or neurological condition
- You are unable to attend or complete follow-up appointments and assessments after the initial treatment
