Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed with melanoma that has spread locally or to other parts of the body, confirmed by laboratory testing of tissue or cell samples, and for whom standard treatments have not worked, are no longer working, or cannot be tolerated
- People whose melanoma has a specific genetic change called an NRAS mutation
- People who have at least one area of cancer that can be measured on scans, according to standard measurement guidelines (called RECIST v1.1)
- People who are generally able to carry out daily activities, rated as 0, 1, or 2 on a standard health and activity scale (called the ECOG performance status scale)
- People aged 19 years or older
- People whose kidneys, blood, and liver are functioning adequately based on test results
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have previously been treated with certain types of targeted cancer drugs known as RAF inhibitors, MEK inhibitors, or ERK inhibitors
- People who have a past or current eye condition affecting the retina that may increase the risk of certain eye problems (confirm with trial site)
- People who have a past or current condition affecting how the heart functions
- People who experienced a serious bleeding episode (rated Grade 3 or higher on a standard side effect scale) within the 4 weeks before the first planned dose of the study drug
