Who might be able to join this trial:

  • Adults aged 18 years or older
  • People who are able and willing to provide written consent to participate

  • People who have a known intolerance or allergy to albumin (a protein found in blood)
  • People who have reduced kidney function
  • People who have previously had surgery on the same area being operated on
  • People whose surgery is expected to involve the use of tissue sealants or adhesives other than the specific one being studied in the trial
  • People who are expected to have extensive internal scarring or tissue sticking together (adhesions) in the chest cavity
  • People whose surgery involves the middle lobe of the lung
