Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who have been diagnosed through a tissue biopsy with a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), at a stage where the cancer is locally advanced (Stage II or III) and cannot be removed by surgery.
- People whose treatment plan includes a full course of radiation therapy combined with chemotherapy, with or without a maintenance drug called Durvalumab.
- People who are reasonably physically functional — meaning their overall health and ability to perform daily activities meets a minimum level as assessed by their doctor (confirm with trial site).

- People with very severe chronic lung disease (COPD at the most advanced stage) who have had recent flare-ups, require oxygen at home full-time, or have severe high blood pressure in the lungs.
- People with serious physical or neurological conditions that prevent them from doing exercise.
- People with certain specific lung or chest concerns that make breathing muscle training unsafe — including an unresolved collapsed lung, chest surgery within the last 4 weeks, or active coughing up of blood.
- People who are unable or unwilling to understand and follow the program's instructions — for example, due to significant memory or thinking difficulties, or a language barrier that cannot be overcome.
