Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are covered by the French national health insurance system
- People who are visiting or staying in a neurology department at either Nancy University Hospital or Metz-Thionville Regional Hospital (Mercy site)
- People who are being seen for the first time for symptoms or brain scan findings that a neurologist at one of those hospitals suspects may be related to multiple sclerosis
Who may not be able to join:
- People whose symptoms or brain scan findings suggest a condition other than multiple sclerosis, such as neuromyelitis optica, MOG antibody-associated disease, sarcoidosis, conditions linked to anti-neuronal antibodies, or vascular, infectious, tumour-related, or paraneoplastic disorders
- People for whom it is not possible to have at least one brain MRI scan as part of their initial assessment, for example due to a medical reason that prevents them from having an MRI
