Who might be able to join this trial:
- People between 2 and 75 years of age
- People who have a reasonable level of physical functioning, measured by a standard performance score (Karnofsky score of 70% or above for those aged 16 and older, or Lansky play score of 50 or above for those under 16) (confirm with trial site)
- People who have a suitable bone marrow or stem cell donor — this includes a related donor who matches on 5 or 6 out of 6 markers, an unrelated donor who matches on 5 to 8 out of 8 specific genetic markers, or a related donor who matches on at least 5 out of 10 markers
- People whose liver is functioning well enough, with no severe liver failure and certain blood test results within acceptable ranges (confirm with trial site)

- People whose heart is functioning adequately, with no severe heart failure or uncontrolled irregular heartbeat, and a heart pumping strength of at least 40%
- People whose lungs are functioning adequately, with breathing test results at 40% or above of the expected level and no need for supplemental oxygen
Who may not be able to join:
- People who are pregnant or breastfeeding
- People with an HIV infection that has not been treated or is not under control
- People with a serious active infection that has not been treated or is not under control
- People with cancer that is actively affecting the brain or central nervous system
- People with a specific type of leukemia (CML) that has progressed to a severe stage called blast crisis and has not reached a remission with normal blast cell counts
- People who have had a high-intensity (myeloablative) stem cell transplant within the past 3 months
