Who might be able to join this trial:

- People who have had chemotherapy within the past five years
- People who take blood-thinning medications (such as Coumadin or Pradaxa) that cannot be changed or stopped — clinical staff would determine this
- People who take medications that lower blood sugar or affect metabolism, such as metformin or GLP-1 drugs (a type of weight and blood sugar medication)
- People who take high-dose statin medications (40 mg or more)
- People who have a visual impairment that cannot be corrected with glasses or lenses
- People who score below 29 on a specific thinking and processing speed test called the Symbol Digit Test
- People who have received Botox injections for muscle stiffness within the three months before the study begins
- People who would need to make changes to their Baclofen medication (a muscle relaxant) during the study period
- People who are unable to commit to approximately four months to complete the full study
- People who have an allergy to lidocaine (a local anaesthetic)
- People who currently use tobacco products
