• You are between 16 and 25 years old.

• If you take medication for ADHD, your dose must have been stable for at least 4 weeks before joining the trial (changes during the study are not preferred but will be carefully recorded if they happen).

Who may not be able to join:

• You have a serious mental health condition that needs immediate treatment, such as severe depression or thoughts of suicide (as decided by your therapist and/or the research team).
• You are currently receiving any psychological treatment or therapy, including therapy specifically for ADHD — therapy or education completed before the study is fine, but not during it.
• Your low self-esteem is directly caused by a traumatic experience, which would mean a different type of treatment is more appropriate (this is assessed by your referring therapist).
• Your IQ is below 80, as measured by two specific sections of a standard intelligence test.
• You have a serious problem with substance use, as determined by your therapist and/or the research team.
• You have a confirmed diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), or your referring therapist believes an ASD diagnosis is very likely, even if it has not been officially confirmed yet.
