Who might be able to join this trial:
- You are willing to take part in the study voluntarily
- You are 18 years old or older at the time of signing the consent form
- You have been diagnosed with early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (a type of lung cancer) confirmed by a tissue or cell sample, or you have multiple tumour spots in the lung or a single tumour that has come back in the lung tissue
- Your lung cancer has been shown by genetic testing to have certain specific changes (mutations) in a gene called EGFR, such as Exon 19 deletion, L858R, or other related changes
- Your general health and ability to carry out daily activities is at a reasonable level (confirm with trial site)
- You have been assessed by a team of doctors as not being suitable for surgery, or you have chosen not to have surgery
- Your lung tumour(s) can be treated with either ablation (a procedure that destroys tumour tissue using heat or cold) or radiotherapy (radiation treatment)
- Your liver, kidneys, and other major organs are functioning well enough to take part
Who may not be able to join:
- You have had a severe allergic reaction in the past to a type of medicine called a monoclonal antibody, or to ingredients used in the study drug
- You have a medical reason why you cannot have ablation or radiotherapy
- Your tumour cannot be treated with radiotherapy in a way that meets the required safety standards for protecting nearby healthy organs (confirm with trial site)
- You have had an active infection that needed treatment with medicines (taken by mouth or into a vein) within the 14 days before starting the study
- You have hepatitis B or hepatitis C with signs that the virus is currently active in your body
- You received radiotherapy aimed at curing your cancer within the 3 months before starting the study
- You had a major surgical procedure within 28 days before starting the study (defined as surgery needing at least 3 weeks of recovery time)
- You are currently taking part in another clinical trial, or you took part in one involving a drug or medical device within the past 3 months (or within a certain timeframe based on the previous drug used — confirm with trial site)
- The trial doctor believes there is any other reason that makes it unsafe or unsuitable for you to join
