Who might be able to join this trial:

• People who have been diagnosed with muscle-invasive bladder cancer that has been confirmed through laboratory testing of tissue, and whose cancer includes a specific cell type called urothelial

• People whose medical team, after a group review meeting, has determined that curative (aimed at curing) treatment is unlikely to benefit them, or who have personally chosen not to pursue curative treatment

Who may not be able to join:

• People who score 8 or higher on a scale used to measure frailty (physical vulnerability in older adults) — confirm with trial site for details on how this is assessed
• People who have previously had radiation therapy to the pelvic area in a way that would significantly overlap with the treatment area for this trial
• People whose scans show the cancer has spread to internal organs or bones
• People whose scans show the cancer has spread to more than 3 lymph nodes, with at least one of those measuring larger than 2 cm
• People who are already planned to receive systemic treatment (such as chemotherapy or immunotherapy given throughout the body) at the time of joining the trial
• People who have already been recommended for radiation therapy to the bladder to relieve symptoms at the time of joining the trial
