Who might be able to join this trial:

  • You have been diagnosed with a specific type of vitiligo called "non-segmental vitiligo" for at least 3 months
  • The vitiligo affects between 4% and 60% of your body's skin surface (not counting the palms of your hands, soles of your feet, or the tops of your feet)
  • At least a small amount of vitiligo (0.5% or more) is visible on your face
  • Your vitiligo scores meet specific measurements for both face and body that the trial team will check (confirm with trial site)
  • Your vitiligo is either currently spreading or has been stable — both are acceptable

Who may not be able to join:

  • You have a different type of vitiligo other than the kind described above
  • You currently have another active condition affecting your skin's pigmentation (colouring)
  • You currently have an active inflammatory skin condition or other skin problem that could make it hard to assess the vitiligo
  • You have had a skin infection in the 2 weeks before starting the trial (you may be able to try again after the infection clears up)
  • You have had a history of serious alcohol misuse, intravenous drug use, or other illegal drug use in the past year
  • You have a history of serious or unstable heart, lung, liver, digestive, hormonal, blood, nerve, or mental health conditions that the trial doctor believes could put you at risk or affect the results
  • You have ever used any medication from a group called "JAK inhibitors" — either as a cream/ointment or as a pill/injection — at any point in the past (examples include ruxolitinib, tofacitinib, and baricitinib)
