Who might be able to join this trial:
- Adults aged 18 or older
- People who have been diagnosed with a specific type of thyroid cancer (papillary or follicular thyroid carcinoma), confirmed through laboratory testing of tissue
- People who have had their entire thyroid gland surgically removed, with or without follow-up radioactive iodine treatment
- People currently taking levothyroxine as their only thyroid hormone medication (not taking T3 supplements or combined thyroid hormone products)
- People whose thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) blood level was below 4 uIU/mL at least 3 months after their thyroid surgery
- People who are proficient in English
- People who are able to give informed consent to participate in the trial
Who may not be able to join:
- People diagnosed with medullary or anaplastic thyroid carcinoma (specific less common types of thyroid cancer)
- People currently receiving systemic treatment (such as chemotherapy or targeted therapy) for thyroid cancer or any other cancer
- People with cognitive or psychiatric conditions that would prevent them from fully participating in the trial
- People who would be unable to complete the required study procedures
