Who might be able to join this trial:

• Adults aged 18 years or older
• People who are able to give their informed consent to participate
• People who are willing and able to attend a study visit at the Centre for Eye Research Australia
• People who have been diagnosed with a retinal or optic nerve disease, such as diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, or age-related macular degeneration
• Healthy people without any known retinal or optic nerve disease, who are matched by age and sex to participants with a diagnosed condition

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are unable to give informed consent
• People with eye conditions that would prevent clear retinal imaging, such as a dense cataract, significant cloudiness of the cornea, or bleeding inside the eye
• People with a known medical reason why eye drops used to widen the pupil would not be safe for them
• People with a history of a narrow drainage angle in the eye, or who are considered at risk of a type of glaucoma that could be triggered by pupil dilation
• People with any other condition that the trial investigator believes could affect their safety or the quality of the images taken
