Who might be able to join this trial:
- People who are between 18 and 65 years old
- People who have been diagnosed with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) based on standard diagnostic criteria known as DSM-5
- People whose OCD has not responded well to at least one antidepressant medication from a group called SSRIs, taken at the right dose for long enough
- People whose OCD symptoms score at 20 or higher on a standard OCD severity rating scale called the Y-BOCS, measured at the start of the study
- People whose current medications have not changed in the past 2 months, and who are willing to keep their doses stable throughout the study
- People who have given informed consent to participate and have no medical reasons that would make a brain stimulation treatment called TMS unsafe for them
Who may not be able to join:
- People who have a serious neurological condition or a degenerative brain disease
- People who have any condition that raises their risk of having a seizure
- People who have a cochlear implant, metal implants in the head or neck area, a cardiac pacemaker, deep brain stimulation device, or a vagus nerve stimulator
- People who have had brain surgery in the past
- People who have any other medical reason that would make TMS (a type of brain stimulation) unsafe for them (confirm with trial site)
