  • You have a known allergy or sensitivity to lidocaine or similar local anaesthetic medicines (called amide anaesthetics — confirm with trial site if unsure)
  • You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
  • You are unable to tolerate small cotton pads being placed inside your nose (confirm with trial site)
  • You have significant health problems affecting the area inside your nose where the cotton pads would be placed (confirm with trial site)
