Who might be able to join this trial:

• Women or people who were assigned female at birth
• Aged 16 or over
• Endometriosis confirmed by keyhole surgery or imaging within the last ten years
• Pelvic pain that has lasted for more than six months
• Willing to follow the treatment plan required by the trial
• Willing to use effective contraception throughout the trial, if this applies
• Willing and able to give informed consent to take part

Who may not be able to join:

• People who are currently pregnant, breastfeeding, or actively trying to become pregnant
• People who have gone through menopause (no periods for more than 12 months and not taking hormonal treatment to prevent periods, or who have had both ovaries removed)
• People who have had their uterus and both ovaries removed (hysterectomy with bilateral oophorectomy)
• People with Raynaud's Disease (a condition affecting blood flow to the extremities)
• People currently receiving treatment for cancer
• People with diabetes
• People with a known underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism)
• People with a pre-existing or current diagnosis of anaemia (low red blood cells or iron)
• People with certain heart or blood vessel conditions, including severely high blood pressure, unstable chest pain, irregular heart rhythm, a heart attack or stroke within the last six months, peripheral artery disease, or a cardiac pacemaker (confirm with trial site)
• People with acute kidney or urinary tract diseases
• People with a condition called cryoglobulinemia (an immune system condition affecting the blood)
• People with a history of blood clots in the veins or blocked arteries in the limbs
• People with cold urticaria (a skin reaction triggered by cold temperatures)
• People with livedo reticularis (a skin condition causing a mottled, net-like pattern)
• People with open wounds, ulcers, or large-area bacterial or viral skin infections
• People with a seizure disorder that is not well controlled
• People with a known blood clotting disorder, such as von Willebrand disease or haemophilia
• People with severe claustrophobia
• People with an active infection or fever at the time of joining
• People under the influence of alcohol or drugs
• People showing signs or symptoms of a cold allergy
• People with severe wasting or muscle-loss conditions
• People with known Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, or HIV — noted in the trial criteria as being due to postal restrictions on sending biological samples
