Who might be able to join this trial:
- You must be 18 years of age or older.
- You must have a type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), from which special lab-grown tissue samples (called organoids) and certain immune cells have been collected and are available for testing.
- You are currently receiving or are planned to receive a cancer treatment drug called Trastuzumab deruxtecan (T-DXd), and you meet the medical requirements for that treatment.
- You must be willing and able to sign a consent form agreeing to take part in the trial.
- Your lab-grown tissue samples must show either strong or weak levels of two specific proteins (called HER2 and TROP2), as this determines which group of the trial you would be placed in (confirm with trial site).
Who may not be able to join:
- You have a different type of lung cancer called small cell lung cancer (SCLC), confirmed by a tissue test.
- The required lab-grown tissue samples or immune cells from your blood or tumor are not available for testing.
- You have a medical reason that means you cannot safely receive the T-DXd treatment.
- You have other serious health conditions that mean your life expectancy is estimated to be less than 3 months.
- You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding.
